A few minutes ago, Paige woke (1:15am) and told me she had a star shaped headache and she didn’t want it anymore so we needed to take it and throw it outside. I offered kisses in a star pattern instead and suggested some medicine (Tylenol). She agreed to the kisses but to the medicine she said, “No thanks, I think I’ll keep the headache.” LOL
Paige was checking out the magnets on our refrigerator and found one for South Carolina that we had. She asked if we went there and I explained that Mommy and Daddy went there. She asked if she went there with us. I was pregnant with her when we were there so I told her, “Sort of, honey. You were in Mommy’s tummy when we were there.” She gasped and said, “You ATE me?” HAHAHA, oh boy! I told her I did not eat her and then quickly changed the subject.
We just arrived home from Easter Dinner with the extended family. My husband and daughter went upstairs while I stayed downstairs to put the leftovers away. As I’m walking up the stairs, I hear Paige tell her Daddy… “I’m looking to see if I have a bum crack.” HAHAHA
Paige says to me as I’m making dinner, “Mommy, you have to hurry before I damage my tummy.” (she makes grumble noises) “See! It’s getting damaged!”
I completed a couple more Angry Birds for Paige’s set; this time light blue birds. I had a few issues with them but, as usual, Paige loves them and doesn’t care a bit about the mistakes. The feathers on one of the birds I did wrong. Normally, I would have remade the feathers but I was out of felt, including the little scraps I used for the feathers so one of the birds is missing top feathers. On that same bird, I machine sewed with the opening at the front, by mistake, instead of the back. Oops.
I’ve had a few people ask me if they are all the same size or varying sizes like they are in the game. They are a variety of sizes, as per the game. I took a picture of the ones I’ve made so far with them lined up to show size comparisons.
Paige was a little jealous that her new toys were getting their picture taken so she insisted I take some of her with her toys. I was only too happy to oblige.
The backdrop for these photos is the blanket that I knitted for myself. The pattern for the Angry Birds and Pig came from Obsessively Stitching.
