I’m going to warn you in advance that there will be a number of photos in this post.
Yesterday afternoon, in a fit of spontaneity, we ended up having some water fun in our backyard. I started out watering the lawn and my daughter, whom is normally adverse to spraying water, decided out of the blue to run through the water as I was spraying the grass. I was shocked! So I did what any normal parent would do… I sprayed the heck out of her. HAHA. Fully clothed in a polo shirt and a skort, my daughter became completely and totally drenched.
And she enjoyed every minute of it! After a little while, my husband returned and saw our fun and had a great time watching us. Eventually, I remembered to go get the camera and he took over spraying Paige.
You can see the anticipation in her face in this one. She knows Daddy’s going to get her and she’s waiting.

Our Weapon!
It was really great fun. Our poor backyard, which we recently seeded, was absolutely soaked and our grass seed might not survive BUT it was totally worth it. We can always re-seed but you can’t get back moments like these, they are absolutely priceless!
