It was a tough day. I was in and out for most of the day because we had a dinner party to attend. I was running around getting my hair done, my make up done, my eyebrows waxed, etc. We’ve learned that Paige won’t use the potty with Daddy. She will only use it with Mommy.
Within minutes of Paige waking up, she asked to use the potty. Yay! That was her only success of the day until later in the evening. At the dinner party, she asked to use the potty so off we went and we had our second successful potty of the day. The toilet was an interesting one with a pull handle at the top centre of the tank. Paige LOVED that handle and I had a hard time getting her to stop flushing the toilet long enough for me to get her diaper and bloomers back on. HAHA. She was so enamoured with the toilet that she asked 4 more times to use the potty over the next couple hours. She ended up having 2 successful potty trips.
The final count was three successes and we were very proud of her. It was a difficult day for potty training but she still managed to make it a good day.
